Cue: Nissan Motor Co.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe came out in 2008. It looked good, performed good, and was overall a pretty good car, bar the fact that it seemed overpriced compared to the Ford-that-should-not-be-named, and that the engine lineup was a tad weak for the car's weight.
It was redesigned in 2013, addressing criticisms about the last model, by upgrading the interior, refreshing the exterior, adding ~45 HP to each engine, and improving the suspension. Each review for the redesign has been raving, and one even placed it above the refreshed 2013 Ford-that-should-not-be-named.
Finally, a small(ish) Japanese 2+2.
The Toyota 86 has been released this year, so far possessing all of the issues of the "first-generation" Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
Another small Japanese 2+2.
Nissan. Now is the time. The time to make a small(ish) 2+2 that handles great and is ripe for tuning.
Bring back the Silvia. Don't talk to the numbers people. Don't even make sales estimates.
Just make the car.
Like the S15, but better in every way.
Great handling.
Sleek styling. Don't make it boy-racer like the Toyobaru, or fishy like the Genesis Coupe. Make it conservative like the S15. Nothing too flashy and it will look fresh 10 years from now.
Affordable price.
Keep it under 3,000 pounds.
Big brakes.
A turbocharged inline-4 with an LSD and at least 250 horsepower .That's nothing these days. 300 HP. Dodge made a Caliber with 285 HP in 2008. You should be able to make 300 HP reliably by 2015.
In fact, don't even offer an N/A motor.
And, as icing on the cake, offer some Midnight Purple paint.
Do it.
And you will have my money and my undying loyalty.
I'll name my first child Nissan Silvia Knight.
I promise.
Please.
If Hyundai can do it, and Subaru can do it, you can do it.
